We are all totally buzzing from a most fabulous summer. We’ve travelled the length and breadth of the country, and played gigs at such diverse and varied festivals and venues, at all times of day and night, to audience of all ages and backgrounds, and all our audiences have been just magical, so thank you thank you thankyou.
It’s never easy to come out on the road with new songs and a new line-up, but we can tell that everyone has been as excited about it as we have, and the momentum has been building exponentially.
There are so many highlights it’s hard to single some out, but starting the summer by filling the field at Bearded Theory so much it had to be closed off was unbelievable. And playing on the main stage at Watchet Festival to a setting sun, and guesting the same night there with the Levellers was just magnificent. We truly feel blessed.
It’s also been a summer of playing in some totally beautiful places and family friendly venues, such as Brighton Open Air Theatre, Carn Marth, Sterts Theatre and Treyarnon Bay, and we’ve loved watching you all dancing with your families and friends, and with ours too. Our joy of touring is about the whole experience and not just the gigs, so the sea swimming, the exploring, the parties and meeting so many of your smiling faces out and about is just as important to us.
So, once again thank you one and all, and if you’d like to see us at a festival near you in 2017, don't forget to write to them on social media and chatrooms… they really do take note.
